Where the names actually come from
Rockstar has not released a vehicle roster for GTA 6. GTABase's vehicle database is one of the more careful examples, and it is explicit that its entries are identifications.
That process is often accurate, for two structural reasons. Grand Theft Auto vehicles are usually recognisable pastiches of specific real cars, so a clear frame is genuinely identifiable. And many names carry over between games, so a returning model can be named with reasonable confidence. It is still inference, and inference has a failure rate.

That is a description of categories that appear in footage, which is about as far as the evidence stretches. It is also the more useful information for most people: the interesting thing about GTA 6's vehicles is that the six regions of Leonida each imply their own kind of transport, not which specific sports car is in the trailer.

In practice, after launch — when players have the game and can enumerate what is in it.
